There are too many adverts on NZ television compared with other countries?

Reasons To Disagree

Maybe it was just the language barrier, but German TV seems to have waaay more ads that NZ TV. I don't think there is anything wrong with what we have now, although a few less per thirty minute program would be nice.

I was once watching a league game in aussie and they had an ad break during the game in the middle of the first half! you would never see that here lol

I have been out of New Zealand for 3 years, living in Singapore which has little ads and they just repeat over and over again, I miss New Zealand's ads

Reasons To Agree

There are too many and they're completely tasteless and crude.

Better to have ads than a licence fee. There are rather a lot, mind you - how about increasing the fees and having a few less?

never mind the comparison - there's too much adverting full stop! Especially by the bunch of grinning, simpering, sickos who peddle patent medicines!
